Findlay Brown: Holding Back The Night / Promised Land (Dimitri In Paris Mix)n

I remember sitting at my desk a few years ago and being handed a demo of Findlays tracks - i very quickly fell in love with him - these tracks later went on to form a brilliant debut album. Whatever the reason, bad marketing, lack of brakes at radio, poor timing - the record didnt work. Now Findlay is back with a new record on This Is Music (steaming hot label) and sounding as good as he first did. Beautifully warm, romantic and comforting on a cold winters evening in London. When you can’t find love. When love is lost. And love is but a lost fantasty. The Dimitri in Paris mix is fcking ace as well x

His second album, Love Will Find You (produced by Bernard Butler) is due out in May

Welcome to 88 days in my veins. We usually write from London. Although sometimes we're caught between Brighton, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin and Great Malvern.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center. Kurt Vonnegut
