Giant massive super brilliant \ subjective

The ultimate stupido, locking self out of their own flat. Thankfully some wise man invented drain pipes. This week has been super massive brilliant for new music, coincidence that the summer has finally arrived? I bet.

Health open up this evenings proceeding with a riot. One of the big Twitter SXSW buzz bands was definitely Health. Experimental. Electronica. Noise. Melody. (dear Kasabian, this is how you merge vocals, electronica, guitar and attitude, you bunch of flanges)

MP3: Health: Die Slow

Bjork hanging out The Golden Filter. Dripping with melancholy and honey. Roll up. Glasser came along with the Lemonade - that isn’t to say they are similar bands, or even share a similar musical approach to construction.

MP3: Glasser: Apply

The best track we’ve heard in a long time, Discodust keeps finding amazing stuff, Cecile and Curses/Holy Ghost! are firmly lodged in our top10 tracks of the year. Disco-a-rama and massively sexy. Pet Shop Boys hanging out with Italo disco queens. Love it. Glasser are from America.

MP3: Colouring In: Intergalactic Romantic (Demo Radio Edit) via (aleks at discodust)

Lissy, oh Lissy. Oh man gawd. It’s another critically acclaimed female fronted ensemble…yes we know, but this is as genius a pop song as you’re going to hear this year. American. Foxy. Kate Moss and Blondie fucking like wild horses. Brilliant. Heard this about two months ago and still love it. Out on MAKE MINE RECORDINGS

MP3: Lissy Truille: Boy Boy

One for the geeks. Steve Reich = genius.

MP3: Steve Reich: Different Trains - 1. America - Before The War
