well, yes & no.
we were hugely keen on Skeletal Lamping, of Montreal’s ninth album of late last year, and remain admirable of Kevin Barnes’ ability to fit rather a lot of words into a very short space of time without sounding like a rapper. Not, of course, that we have anything against rappers…Styrofoam remix, yes, we’re fans, it sounds like just enough Micro Korg has been added to the mix…speaking of Montreal, we’ve been hearing it’s lovely. Any tips?
And now for some news. The first 88 Days night is on 30th May, when we’ll be taking over Brighton’s Penthouse (upstairs at the Freebutt), in the manner that the great and the good at 20 Jazz Funk Greats did until the end of last year…RIP xxjfg nights x. we’ll DJ italo and Stuart Price remixes alongside the musical choices of the veritable Uncle Tone of Slutty Fringe and that producer-DJ fella JOCKS. 7.30pm-1am, just enough time for you to get a fantastic musical fix before you hit the superclubs of West Street for a KILLA NIGHT OUT.

I just heard this blog get a shoutout on Xfm Xposure because of the Golden Panda track. Noice!
