88 days in my veins

This week in review.

I can’t pretend I’m much pleased, returning from a week in the rolling Umbrian Hills of Perugia in Northern Italy with close friends silliness, new friends adored and many a breast and bottom, back into the nasty world of the dollar. Thank lord for girlfriends in strange places connectible by train and by foot and by hope and by dollar.

MP3: Gold Panda: Quitter’s Raga

Memory Tapes continue to plunder the world of taste with their lo-fi godliness, Acephale over in Canada are one hot diva of a label right now. The Horrors remix has received a huge amount of blog love and it’s over on hype - so go check it.

MP3: Golau Glau: Virtual boy

For many regrettable reasons, as already laboured over on this putrid blog neither of us attended the Sonar bish bash fat face wallop, alas, we missed the GLK performance. Was it good? I bet it was sweat from my flu riddled brow. Continuing the infused hip hop tronica of Flying Lotus, Bullion and Paul White topped with Bobs Ya Uncle. All brilliant and highly fascinating

MP3: Gaslamp Killer: Anything Worse

Welcome to 88 days in my veins. We usually write from London. Although sometimes we're caught between Brighton, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin and Great Malvern.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center. Kurt Vonnegut
