we’re swooning over The xx just like every single other blogger/human/animal/sea creature on the internet right now. We struggle not to listen to their album daily, the perfect sound for dragging oneself out of bed into the dreary English weather, and back into bed sober because you just don’t think you can afford to drink anymore. New Grinder Astronomer has shared his own take on Basic Space, just hinting on that guitar line behind enough-but-not-too-much bass…the sound of a spruced up The xx, ready for anything. And his Metronomy remix ain’t half bad either.
