88 days in my veins

Silk Flowers

Hailing from New York rather than the backstreets of Northern England, Silk Flowers amalgamate the sounds of Joy Division and Salem in a rather lucid fashion on this track, whilst other tracks are far less forthcoming and hail to minimalism over post punk sounds. Soon to be released by the very fine ears over at Captured Tracks. You can buy the EP from the wonders that are Rough Trade now.

Recommended listening time, probably 11pm on a Thursday night when you’re feeling sufficiently riled by one and all and are looking for some wonderful alone time. We also have this track available below in take away format - go play it loud.

Welcome to 88 days in my veins. We usually write from London. Although sometimes we're caught between Brighton, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin and Great Malvern.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center. Kurt Vonnegut
